Tascam US-428
Audio Workstation Controller
|
|
The US-428, co-developed by TASCAM and Frontier Design Group, is a USB controller for Windows PC and Macintosh based MIDI Sequencing and Digital Audio Recording programs. The US-428 provides a quicker and more intuitive link between audio I/Os and digital audio recording software than a conventional mouse and keyboard. When tracking or mixing, the US-428 handles four bands of fully parametric EQ, level, pan, multiple Aux sends, I/O routing, and three user-definable parameters. The number of channels that the US-428 can control is limited only by the sequencer or recording software.
USB connection isolates the US-428 circuits from computer noise for enhanced audio performance. The US-428 includes a special version of the Steinberg Cubasis VST MIDI sequencing and digital audio recording software (not running under OS X).
The US-428 is the perfect interface between familiar analogue recording principles and computer-based digital processes. Its instinctive controls and high audio fidelity make it ideal for recording and post-production facilities.
