ElementalTM
DP134
Warm,
friendly and very uncolored, the ElementalTM
plays it as it hears it. Most pickups have their own characteristic
sound, but the ElementalTM
lets the individual guitar do the talking. It's also sensitive
to differences in picking attack, and "hears" the change in tone
as the right hand moves along the string length. Like theSuper
NaturalTM,
the ElementalTM
installs easily with foam-insulated mounting brackets. Twelve
adjustable pole pieces allow precise string balance, and there's
a convenient slide volume control and 12 foot cable.
Recommended For:
Soundhole in all steel-string guitars.
Tech Talk:
The best term to describe the Elemental
is "neutral". It excels in clean, quiet sound reproduction: very
well suited for fingerpicking and small-to-medium body guitars.
If you're going to combine it with a piezo bridge pickup, we recommend
using a phase-switch equipped preamp or mixer to achieve correct
phase relationship and separation.
