The Phonic Powerpod Plus
Series are powered mixers in a compact
and durable angular molded cabinet
that is stand-mountable. Each Powerpod
Plus has a built-in stereo amplifier
which is bridgeable and power can be
directed to various outputs. Super
Hi-Z inputs allow for the addition
of guitars and other instruments. The
mixers feature onboard DFX, our 24-bit
digital effects processors with 16
preset programs and foot switch jacks.
Each Powerpod Plus includes a main
parameter control and tap delay. The
3-band EQ on every channel and dual
7-band graphic EQ with feedback detection
give you maximum control over your
mix. In keeping with Phonic's commitment
to incorporate wireless technology
into its products, an optional wireless
microphone module can added to the
mixer. The vocal eliminator is great
for taking the vocals off of song tracks
for use in karaoke.

There are three models in the Powerpod
Plus
range: 765, 865 and 885, the main difference
between them being the size of the power
amp in each unit. The Powerpod 865 Plus
is ideal for small PA jobs, solo artists
or Karaoke. The features that Phonic
have packed into this little box are
quite impressive, for not only does it
have eight balanced mix inputs via XLR,
but these translate to ten line inputs
via 1/3-inch jacks. It also has a 24-bit
digital effects processor with 16 programmes,
