This guitar is all about versatility. Replacing the traditional hum-single-hum configuration with three Narrowfield™ pickups paired with a 5-way blade switch, the Swamp Ash Special offers a multitude of switching possibilities. The Narrowfield™ pickups focus the string attack much like a singlecoil but are hum canceling. The result is a new sounding pickup system, which blends features of singlecoil, soap bar, and humbucking pickups.

The Swamp Ash Special has also been updated with a Pattern Regular neck shape and V12 finish.
