The
year was 1976. Carlos Santana was in his dressing room waiting
to play
a gig at the Capital Center
in Washington D.C. A tall, slender 20 year old Paul Reed Smith
with abundant curly hair and wire-rimmed glasses made his way backstage
with a guitar he’d just built for Peter Frampton. This was
the start of a life-long partnership and creative partnership that
has done much to shape the destiny of Paul Reed Smith Guitars.
To
celebrate this pivotal alliance, PRS is proud to present the
25th Anniversary Santana. Appointments
include 24 1/2 “ scale
length, 24 fret bound mahogany “Santana” wide fat neck,
rosewood fretboard, 25th Anniversary shadow bird inlays and headstock
Eagle, purfling strips on the body, Santana pickups with covers
and the patented PRS tremolo.
