Four signature sounds
RoomMate’s mode knob gives you a choice of four signature presets. With superb high-end resolution, Bright Hall gives you amazing detail, while Chorus with Warm Reverb is sweet-sounding effect for bringing your acoustic guitar to life on stage.

Mix, high cut, stereo out
To shape your sound further, RoomMate features a mix control and a high cut knob for increasing definition or backing off on the highs vintage-style. And there’s naturally a stereo out for the studio or stereo live situations.

FAQ

Q. Does the Room-Mate work with other power supplies than the one that comes in the box?
A: Yes, it works with any power supply that gives 12 volt DC and minimum 300 mA.

Q: Is the HALL a true Stereo Hall, or is it 2 mono outputs?
A: Yes, it is true Stereo Hall. Mono in - stereo out.

Q: Can the Room-Mate be used as a Mono Hall in front of a guitar amplifier? Or does it sound weird, when only using one output?
A: The Room-Mate sounds wonderfull when using it as Mono Hall. It also works well in the effect loop of the amplifier.

Q: What function does the tube have in the box? Does it just power up the original signal?
A: No. The tube is placed on the output side. The clean signal is mixed with the reverbed signal and both are put through the tube, so all the outgoing signal gets the warm vintage sound. You will not have to replace the tube as it does not get worn. It is used as a component, not as an amplifying tube.

Q: Does the dry signal go through the A/D & D/A converter?
A: No. The dry signal goes to the tube, where it is mixed with the reverbed signal. The mixed signal then goes to the output.

Q: What bit range is the converter in the Room-Mate?
A: 24-bit.

Q: Does the HIGH CUT work on the dry signal too?
A: No, it only cuts the high frequences in the reverbed sound.

Q: What kind of a tube is used in the Room-Mate?
A: A special T-Rex produced 12AX7 tube.
