Switch between 15-watts of output power in Pentode mode or 7.5-watts in Triode valve operation. Triode mode relaxes the valve power stage allowing the silky-smooth, mellow valve character to shine through. 8 and 16-ohm speaker outputs allow the VOX Night Train to drive almost any speaker cabs.

The VOX Night Train guitar head amp features a cool chrome mirror finish with clear, simple front panel design with Gain and Volume control 3-way Bass, Middle and Treble tone controls, and a Bright / Thich preamp section mode switch: Bright for high-frequency EQ for clear, ringing tone, Thick mode bypassing the tone circuit to boost gain for a chunkier heavy sound.
